What is this?

Sweet Christmas is a 1-page card game of Christmas treats! Using a deck of playing cards, 1 or 2 players must combine ingredients to prepare homemade treats for their loved ones. Match ingredients wisely to create the perfect personalized treats and score the most points! Score points for well-matched combinations and special recipes.

Game Details:

• Game Type: Card game 
• Players: 1-2
• Game length: 15-30 minutes (depending on number of players)
• PDF length: 2 Pages (1-page if printed double-sided)   

Components Needed:

• A single standard deck of playing cards.
• The score pad included in the document.
• A pen or pencil.

FAQs (Updated 3 Oct 2024):

1. How many times can I swap cards from my hand and the deck? Answer: At the beginning of every round you can decide to discard any number of cards from your hand and draw back up to 7 cards. This can only happen once per round.
2. Can I assign multiple treats to one recipient?  Answer: No, a recipient can only be given one treat. If you have left over ingredient cards that you can't use just discard them.
3. Is it possible to create gifts for all recipient cards in a single round?  Answer: No, by design there is at least 1 recipient that will not get a treat (more if you don't have matching suits). This is to introduce an element of complexity and thinking to the game.
